Student Citizenship Awards

Student Citizenship Awards, Apply by April 15

Public Schools of Saskatchewan will be recognizing public school student groups or classes that support citizenship or character building within their schools or community by providing annual student Citizenship Awards. Student groups or classes at elementary and high school will be recognized for their contributions.

There are three $1,000 awards for grade 1 to 8 and three $1,000 awards for grades 9 to 12. Apply by April 15, 2023. Click the title for application information and to read about last year's award winners.

2023 Mosaic School Nutrition Challenge (Application deadline March 31)

Win $15,000 for your school! The Saskatchewan School Boards Association and The Mosaic Company are pleased to announce the annual Mosaic School Nutrition Challenge is now open to all Saskatchewan schools. The Mosaic Challenge encourages grassroots initiatives to promote student nutrition and healthier school environments through nutrition-related activities and programming. This year cash prizes, which will be awarded to 10 successful applicants, have increased from $10,000 to $15,000 each. Click the title to access further information such as the application form, a video about last year's recipients and information on previous recipients back to 2016. (For example, in SECPSD, McNaughton High School was awarded $10,000 in 2022; and Weldon School was awarded $10,000 in 2021.)
